Recital costume info 2014

As you know the recital this year will be held on the 31st of May 2014 at The Quick Center. That means we are already thinking about choreography and costuming. This year we are handling the costuming differently. so that we have more time and more choice. To do this, we will need your help. We need you to measure your child (forms available from reception), hand in the form, with payment before Feb 8th. $50 for kids per dance $60 for teens per dance. (Please note some teens are doing 2 dances, so they will require a costume for each dance). Once ordered there will be no refunds, so please make sure you measure correctly. Thank you so much for your help, and your support, we appreciate it, and we are looking forward to another amazing show.

Tuesday Jan 21st - all kids classes will be cancelled due to impending snow storm.

We hate to have to do this, but we need you and our teachers to be safe…so today we will be canceling all of our kids classes. Amanda's adult contemporary at 6pm, will also be cancelled. Please check the blog and your emails for announcements about Wednesday morning classes, as the snow is supposed to go thru the night. If you don't hear anything, classes are on. Stay safe and warm!!!!

"The Magic Inside of me" June 1st 2013 | 2pm

Our annual showcase will take place on June 1st at The Quick Center , Fairfield University. We have an amazing silent auction taking place at 2pm, with fabulous items such as homewares, fashion accessories, beauty products, original artwork, you name it. All proceeds from the auction will go to Pink Aid this year.
The show will start at 3pm, it features all of our very talented kids, and some of our very talented adults. Amanda and Enrique, founders of The Dance Collective will also be performing this year, so if you want to catch a very entertaining 2 hour show, you can call us at 203 3418900, and reserve your spot over the phone. $30 adults $15 Kids. Or wait until the day of the show, all tickets will be $35.

New Ballroom season starts September

Two 5 Week Sessions | Every Tuesday at 8pm Session One  9/24 - 10/22  session two 11/05 - 12/10  (No class thanksgiving week.) If you want to be a social dancer, this is a perfect  opportunity for you. Bring your partners, friends or  just yourself.  Over the course of each five week session, we will be working on basics (dance to be announced) There will be a $25 Registration fee per person to  hold your spot(s). We need a minimum of 6 people  to run the class. Worst case scenario if we do not get  enough people we will refund you the $25 dollars as  a Dance Collective credit to use towards a class card.  When we have a solid number of people the class will be an additional $100 for the 5 weeks per person.  Please note we issue no refunds, but you can transfer  to another person or credit the remaining amount to a  dance card.  So call now, 203 341 8900, or email us at  customerservice@thedancecollectivect.com and reserve your spot.

Kids Program (7-10yrs) $250 per class per semester (10% discount for multiple classes)
Teens (11-up) $250 per class per semester (10% discount for multiple classes)
Tots in Tights / Step it up (3-6yrs) $250 per class per semester (10% discount for multiple classes)
There will be 3 semesters, Fall, Winter and Spring.  Also there will be an annual registration fee of $25 per student.

PRIVATE SESSIONS
Private 1 hour session with master coaches Amanda or Enrique $130- $150 (w/tax)
Private 1 hour session with Dance Collective Instructor $111 (w/tax)
Private lessons cover all forms of dance.
